1. General
You may not post anything obscene, pornographic, vulgar, slanderous, harassing, threatening, inappropriate, or that which may violate any applicable laws, or that which is a personal attack or personal insult to another.
You may not solicit personal information from anyone under 18 years of age.
Be aware that all member and moderator submitted information solely expresses the views and opinions of that user and not necessarily those of okiepundit.com.
2. Profile
You may omit personally identifying information from your profile to protect your identity, but you may not provide false or misleading information. If you aren’t Tom Cole, your screen name cannot be “Tom Cole”. You get it?
For your screen name, nothing vulgar, or your account will be deleted.
Do not impersonate anyone else with your profile. Again, if you aren’t Tom Cole… you know the rest.
Do not create more than one profile.
“Hit and Run” posters are NOT allowed!
“Hit and Run Poster” n. One who signs up for an account, posts something bold and then abandons the account.
3. Blogs and Comments
Do not be a troll. “Troll” n. “One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument” – Urban Dictionary
Do not respond to trolling! You may message the troll a link to our rules and notify the moderators, but do not exacerbate a deteriorating situation.
Do not flame.
“Flame” v. A broad term describing a set of aggressive, insulting and often derogatory behaviors.
Do not take personal offense during debates: Politely present, defend and support your arguments, and feel free to make an opposing case to counter opposition, but do not take it (or give it) personally.
Do not SPAM – do not start topics to blatantly promote your business, service, publication or website without permission from the administrator.
When replying to blog posts, stay on topic or you will be chastised. You don’t want that, do you?
4. Moderation and Enforcement
Community
If you witness a violation of these guidelines, you may notify the administrator(s) of violations that may require intervention.
Administrative
The administrator(s) have the right to remove, edit, lock or move any user submitted information (including posts, account information, blog content, photographs and other posted material).
At the discretion of the administrator(s), consequences for violating any of these guidelines will range from warnings and suspension of privileges to account suspension and termination. We reserve the right to kick you right off of here if you can’t follow the rules. They aren’t that difficult.
Direct policy disputes, questions and/or concerns to the administrator.
5. Miscellaneous
Limitation of Liability: You agree that okiepundit.com and its administrators shall not be liable for any damages, including incidental and consequential damages. This includes, but is not limited to any of the following:
a) Loss, or misdelivery of data.
b) Unauthorized use of your account.
c) Access delays and interruptions to okiepundit.com.
d) Negative effect on campaigns
